Released last month, BBC Australian Good Food Magazine is packed with recipes, articles and food advice. Gordon Ramsay and Kylie Kwong are two of the contributing celebrity chefs.
A nutrional analysis is provided for every recipe – very useful if you’re watching your diet. It’s only $4.95, which represents excellent value.
One of my favourite and most used books in my vast cookbook collection is The Food Substitutions Bible , by David Joachim. This practicle book provides substitutions for just about any ingredient, which makes it an invaluable resource if you are in the middle of cooking a dish and realise that you are out of something.

Hi Andrew, as far as I am aware, the BBC Australia Good Food recipes are not available on the web YET. I would not be surprised if, down the track, they make their recipes available, similar to delicious magazine do on http://www.taste.com.au

I’m not surprised that Australian Good Food Ceased publication as I just tried a recipe that I had kept and obviously it had not been tested as the time and temperature were completely out.
