Pasta Making and Italian Sauces
Although dried pasta is cheap and readily available, there is nothing like fresh homemade pasta. If you have never attempted making fresh pasta before, this is the class for you! You will learn to make pasta from scratch using a pasta machine and shape it several ways. To complement the pasta, you’ll make three classic yet simple Italian sauces, as well as a traditional Italian dessert to conclude the meal. As seen on Great South East.

Advanced Pasta Making
In this class you will build on your pasta making skills and learn to colour pasta, make filled pasta and gnocchi, as well as accompanying sauces and a delicious Italian dessert. Ideally you have already attended our Pasta Making & Italian Sauces class or already possess basic pasta making skills, but anyone with reasonable cooking skills is welcome to attend.

Gourmet Aussie Barbecue
Learn how to prepare a selection of exciting but effortless dishes to cook on the BBQ. No previous barbecuing experience is necessary, as barbecue guru Paul Rast (as seen on SBS Food Safari) will walk you through the basics. You’ll then dine alfresco in a beautiful Australian bush setting, enjoying the meal you’ve helped create with matching wines. A great class for overseas visitors or those wanting some new ideas for the grill.

Inspired by our travels to regional Italy, in this class you’ll discover the simplistic and fresh approach Italians take to cooking, and prepare an authentic traditional Italian meal. You’ll then relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour over a leisurely lunch, and as they do in Italy you’ll conclude the meal with a glass of lemoncello!

If you have holidayed in Bali, you’ll know how mouth-wateringly delicious Indonesian cuisine is. At this class you will learn to create a “Rijsttafel” (Rice Table) – a banquet of authentic Indonesian dishes. Joining this class will be Dutch-Indonesian Paul Rast (as seen on SBS Food Safari), who will be sharing his Mother’s and Grandmother’s closely guarded recipes.

A Modern Australian Christmas Feast (held Nov – Dec) If you’re daunted by the prospect of hosting Christmas this year, you’ll love this class where you will learn to prepare stunning, stress-free food for the festive season. Breaking away from tradition, you will create a beautiful four-course Modern Australian Christmas meal using luxurious ingredients. In keeping with life’s a feast’s philosophy that the host be free to enjoy themselves and the company of their guests, the majority of the meal can be prepared in advance.
