recipe: creamy pesto dip

The party season is just around the corner, and this super simple but sumptuous dip will really make your entertaining easy. For best results, use a quality pesto from the fridge section of a deli, or even better, fresh homemade pesto.

Ingredients (serves 4-6):
1/3 cup pesto
½ cup sour cream
3 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese
Garnish:  fresh basil leaves, pine nuts or shaved parmesan

Method:
1. Combine pesto, sour cream and parmesan in a bowl and mix well. 
2. Spoon into a serving dish, garnish with either basil leaves, pine nuts or shaved parmesan.
3. Serve with crackers of choice or crudités.
